Remix Contest -- "Symphonies" by Dan Black feat. Kid Cudi

Dan Black is one of the hottest alternative-pop stars to emerge from England in the past few years. His first single, "HYPNTZ" caused a sensation when it dropped, as it was a nod to Biggie Small's "Hypnotize", and Rihanna's hit "Umbrella". Dan built on this success with his current hit "Symphonies", and he's already invited Kid Cudi to jump on board to lay down some vocals.

In the same remix spirit, Dan asked artist to rework his song "Symphonies", into something totally unique.

My production starts with a folky intro and ends with a short trippy electronic soundscape that could be two different songs entirely. For the bulk of the mix i added rock guitars, synths, acoustic drums, an 808 drum machine, a few extra vocals and orchestral sounds.

Also I never heard this song before I remixed it. After I did the mix I noticed that there where a few extra vocal tracks that I didn't download.
I would have used them but it's to late now.
