new wah wah...

My old Cry Baby Wah-wah bit the dust on Sunday. I've had this pedal 19 years - I no that as it was the very generous present from my old colleagues when I left my last job and that was June 1991.

Anyway for a while it's been crackling away protesting a new pot would be well in order and the switch had been hit and miss... now it is isn't it is on permanently and you can't turn it off at all! Fine if you are in a UFO or MSG tribute band or hoping to get into Paradise Lost but I use the wah sparingly if I'm honest.

I used to have an old truly vintage Vox wah that had had to have a new pot and other stuff on it and lost it's mojo. I've liked the look of the Vox reissue for this reason it harks back to that lost golden pedal. I found one via Amazon for £65 so I've ordered one... just have to wait now.
