I have been playing in a 7 piece function band for 11 years. the Mission statement was 'Anything Nice in a Marquee' Especially the Hunt balls / Charity Balls : Where they have all paid a fortune for the ticket - drank too mush champagne and ready to get up on the tables and dance with us too. But there are only so many times you can play Loveshack and All Right Now. So retired from that caper and now looking for new challenges. Just done a couple of gigs with a 9 piece jazz band ; Swing / Sinatra / Buble and big band stuff.
Love it .
Need the variation from just jangley guitars. Must have a brass section and some harmonies. I'd like Steely Dan , ELO, Madness or SAHB : Hows that for a broad Church?

Live near Harlow have transport and all the gear ( inc full band PA).
