Whats all this about age?
HiyaI'm in the situation at the moment where I have taken the plunge and gone headfirst into self-employment as a musician. I have played drums for a good number of years and felt that now, due to unemployment, would be a good time to give it a try.First of all it has cost me my drummers position in the band I was with (who will remain nameless for obvious reasons). - Hi I’m Joe
I'm a very dedicated, hard working drummer and I have studio as well as live experience. I also do some songwriting and currently write and record my own original material at home using a digital home recording studio (Boss BR 900). I have put some of my original material on this site and I hope you will take a listen and let me have your comments.
I am first and formost a drummer and do not make any claims of being a Guitarist, Keyboard Player, Vocalist or Performer. However I do sing and play a majority of the instruments on the recordings myself.
As a drummer I have played with bands who have supported the likes of ‘The Bureau’ (Ex Dexy’s Midnight Runners), ‘Inspiral Carpets’, ‘Skinny Molly’ (Ex Lynyrd Skynyrd) as well as tribute bands such as ‘Eric Clapton’ and I have also played at venues such as ‘The Rock Garden’ and ‘The Mean Fiddler’ in London, ‘The Firehouse’ in Liverpool, ‘JBs’ Dudley, ‘The River Rooms’ in Stourbridge and ‘The Robin 2’ in Bilston….Just to name a few!.
