- Interested in forming a duo to play more unorthodox covers and maybe write a few tunes. On planet Hank, Skip James is king (especially when he's playing 'Hard Time Killing Floor') but equally at home with Two Gallants, Tom Waits, Alabama 3, and most blues & Jazz, also a big Neil Young/Gillian Welch fan. Sorry but I dont 'Rock' in the conventional sense although I have been known to roll occasionally in a wobbly sort of way, so if the idea of being something other than another pub rock band belting out a version of 'Alright Now' (quelle surprise) or 'More than a Feeling' (Quelle Fromage!) grabs you please drop me a line. I'm even willing to compromise my musical integrity and play Bowie covers on the spoons dressed in a tutu, I dont really care as long as it has a shred of originality to it!
