Pont music consultants is mature friendly. Why not? I’m 51. As a promoter, I find that age often brings a sense of courtesy and understanding that’s easy to work with.
I promote for a 100 capacity venue in South Oxford with a very different feel. It’s intimate; there’s no stage and the sound levels are kept low enough that your audience can hear you not the ringing in their ears. The acoustics are so good I rarely use a monitor. There’s not much money in it (either split take or pay to play) but it’s a good platform to get your band heard and advertised.
Bands playing can opt (for a charge) to have their set recorded for a live demo or album - the best live sound you’ll hear. If you like, I can analyse the band and provide a report with constructive criticism on how to increase income or exposure. No-one is too old to learn new tricks. If it would help, I run a master class in band management covering effective rehearsal, set structure, performance and audience interaction, marketing and getting the best from people that you work with.
