"I have found that repetition helps immensely. Practice it enough to be able to perform it well but still keep the passion. I had a contest I had to send in a 30 second video to and I did well.…"

"I don't... I just sing in a lower key so that all the emotion moves from tears to a feeling in the pit of the stomach.  That makes perfect sense to me, but probably not to anybody else but it's the best I can do."

I have a bit of an issue with songs I am very emotional about. It is extremely difficult for me to sing them without being totally disrupted. How do you deal with this? How do you distance yourself from a song?See More
