- 491 blues is a five piece band. Lead vocalist, Blues harp, Lead guitar, bass guitar and drums. Playing rhythmn and blues music in the home counties, based out of Stevenage. Our lead guitarist was the musical director and guitarist for PJ Proby during his early career, the bass player lived in Belfast in the 60's and played with Van Morrison and THEM. Our singer, blues harpist and drummer whilst not having such an illustrious back ground, have played in may other bands during their careers.
