Using GROUPS/PAGES on this site
GROUPS/PAGES (region/genre/bands,etc) are for networking musicians in the same area and/or the same genre, as well as a place for bands to have a presence on the site. You can join one, or start your own if there isn't one for your local area or music genre.
Bands can start a GROUP/PAGE and invite members (or fans) to it, as well as, post gig notices there, add an RSS feed, and start discussions. They can also add the code for a widget music player, from ReverbNation or SoundCloud, or other sites that offer these.
You can also SEND A MESSAGE to all the members of your GROUP, if you wish.

If you have joined as an individual, and you are also in a band, you can either:
a) start a PAGE for it like this
b) sign up again using your band's email address, and create new member's page for your band, like this. See USER TIPS for more details.
