How to use this site

Firstly, thank you for joining ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP! To help you get started, here are some tips on how to use the website, and the wider RTYD network of websites:

Please start by joining the appropriate regional GROUP/PAGE (right hand column of front page) and any other GROUPS/PAGES that might be helpful. If there is no group/page for your region, please feel free to start one, and invite other local musicians to join it.

Then, to start connecting with other musicians and raising your profile on the network, you can:

• search musicians by 'area' and 'instruments played' etc., using the MUSICIANS SEARCH or ADVANCED SEARCH facility, also in the main menu.
• join one of the musicians available GROUPS/PAGES.
• post an ad using the MUSICIANS ADS SITE. There is also a link to this in the main menu.
• raise your profile on the network by posting regular status updates from your personal page (MY PAGE in the main menu), which can also be fired across to your Facebook or Twitter pages (to set this up go into your SETTINGS, and then to CONNECTIONS)
• keep a BLOG (main menu) about what you are up to
• start discussions in the FORUM (main menu).
