It's not always a great career move when established artists do it, but many, like David Bowie, have recorded their 'covers' album. Unfortunately, a lot of them are basically the sign of an over-indulgent artist suffering a baron-patch creatively, and are full of crap and unnecessary cover versions.

Yours, of course, won't be. So if you did get the chance to record one, which 12 songs would you like to cover on it?

Heres' mine:

A Really Good Time - Roxy Music

Touch Me - The Doors

The State I'm In - Belle & Sebastian

Gary Gilmore's Eyes - The Adverts

Halloween - Japan

Quicksand - David Bowie

Kool Thing - Sonic Youth

Manny Moe & Jack - The Dickies

Time To Pretend - MGMT

Nice 'n' Sleazy - The Stranglers

Yellow Bricks - Arctic Monkeys

Enemy - Buffalo Tom

I'd like to hear the Outbursts do 'Wasted Life'! Thanks, Matt. Toby

We only played it once, at a wedding gig we did. The couple said they loved SLF so we learned it for the gig. We might bring it back one day, you never know ;o)
