We put a bit of effort into our videos of The Greedies live performances (thanks to having a pro photographer 'on tap'), and have got the last batch pretty good I think. The intention is, of course, to use them to promote the band and to get more gigs :-).
I've thought about doing it as a part-time small business, for bands roughly on our level, who want something better than "my mate with his iPhone/handycam" but can't (yet) afford a proper video production house job. We do a decent job, I think, a cut above what most folks have...
The big question is - would people pay enough for such things to make it viable? I have no idea.
What would you, as a pretty ideal sample of musicians, be willing to pay for videos such as the latest Greedies ones? (We can provide all the lighting, if required).
