Great albums for bass playing
Listening to some music whilst on the train to London today, I thought that no matter how many times I listen to this album, I can never get tired of the listening to the beautiful rounded shape of the bass notes, and the fact that the bass is not in the background but a lead instrument. The album? School's Out by Alice Cooper. It has got to be one of my all time favourites for listening to good bass, helped by an excellent production, even in the old days of vinyl pre-digital remastering. Especially on tracks like Gutter Cat vs The Jets and Public Animal no 9.
