Anyone built a valve amp?
Thought I'd have a go at building a vintage style hand-wired amp - probably from a kit.
Have any of you tried this and do you have any advice for a beginner?

Haven't done it but I have fixed plenty of valve amps.
I'd recommend something really simple to start with, like a Fender Champ Clone.
You need to be happy working with high voltages as well.
I'd definitely recommend using old-fashioned leaded solder as well.
