Why did you start playing the guitar?
I was about 14 or 15 and my younger sister was attempting to learn to play the guitar at school. She would bring home songs like Michael Row The Boat Ashore to practice and I would occasionally pick up her Spanish guitar and have a go at the songs she was sent home with. I soon realised though, that if I was gonna learn to play guitar it wasn't gonna be by playing "this crap", and so I went out and bought a Clash songbook.
